Clinical Ethics and Risk Management
3-Hour CEU Training for Mental Health Professionals

Instructor: David A. Jobes, Ph.D., ABPP, professor of psychology and ethics teacher at The Catholic University of America. Dr. Jobes is an international expert in clinical suicidology and provides professional consultations to a range of clinical settings. He maintains a private clinical and forensic practice at the Washington Psychological Center.

Participants will:

• Develop an ethical sensibility towards all implicated parties in ethically complex scenarios
• Learn how to effectively use informed consent,consultation, and documentation to decrease risk and liability.
• Learn to develop a “professional backbone” and understand your professional sense of self.

COST: $65/per person per 3-hour session

Cancellation Policy for CEU Training Programs:

JSSA does not refund registration fees for CEU training program cancellations. However, a credit can be issued if JSSA receives a registrant’s cancellation up to two business days prior to the training date. This credit can be applied towards a future CEU training, symposium or post-graduate course up to one year from the issue date.
